At Carole Thrift Shop, every item is carefully inspected and selected for its quality, condition, and authenticity. Because we specialize in second-hand and vintage pieces, normal signs of wear are expected and reflected in the product descriptions and pricing.

Condition & Authenticity Guarantee

We guarantee that:

  • Each item is accurately described to the best of our ability

  • Product photos represent the item you will receive

  • Any major defects are disclosed in the listing

  • All branded items are authenticated internally before being sold

If you believe an item has been misrepresented, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order so we can review the case.

Second-Hand Items — No Manufacturer Warranty

Because our products are pre-owned, manufacturer warranties do not apply.
Items may show light wear or minor imperfections consistent with second-hand goods. These characteristics are not considered defects and are not eligible for warranty claims.

What Is Covered

We offer a limited 7-day warranty against:

  • Major undisclosed defects (holes, stains, damage not shown in photos)

  • Incorrect item received

  • Authenticity concerns (must be submitted with evidence)

If approved, we will offer:

  • A refund
    or

  • A replacement (if available)
    or

  • Store credit

at our discretion based on availability.

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear from previous use

  • Minor flaws listed in the description or visible in photos

  • Sizing issues (vintage sizing may differ; please check measurements)

  • Damage caused after receipt

  • Mystery Boxes (final sale)

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

Email us at info@carolethriftshop.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item

  • A brief explanation of the issue
